A 1990 federal convention that Slovakia still honours
The convention with the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic was signed in London on 5 November 1990 and entered into force on 20 December 1991. GOV.UK records that it continues to apply to the Slovak Republic, with effect there from 1 January 1992. In the UK it takes effect from 6 April 1992 for income tax and capital gains tax, and from 1 April 1992 for corporation tax.

Article 2 names six taxes of the federal republic: the tax on profits, the wages tax, the tax on income from literary and artistic activities, the agricultural tax, the tax on population income, and the house tax. Those are the names in the 1990 text. They are not the titles of the returns the Financial Administration (Finančná správa) issues today. The article also covers later taxes that are identical or substantially similar. Which current Slovak return that means is a question for the Financial Administration, not a line on our invoice.

A resident’s občiansky preukaz accompanies the passport. Address proof is a recent electricity or gas bill, or a bank statement, showing the name and a Slovak address. The commercial register (obchodný register) is Slovakia’s own company register. Our form is IN01.
We copy the passport spelling. Follow-up can be in English and in Slovak.
What you get
We are an ACSP. We prepare form IN01 and file it at Companies House, with the identity check the register requires.

Packages start at £450. The Companies House fee is £100 and is charged separately. Identity verification is £30 for each person who must verify. Formation packages include a London registered office. The certificate and company number usually arrive within 24–48 UK working hours after the file is complete and paid.
From the Founder package we can help prepare a WorldFirst application after the certificate. WorldFirst decides the account. We do not open a bank account and we do not get Stripe to accept the company.

Questions
Are the six 1990 tax names still the forms I file?
They are the names in the convention. The Financial Administration applies today’s Slovak law to taxes that are the same or substantially similar. Ask them which return is yours.
Does the UK certificate file with the Financial Administration?
No.
Do you guarantee a bank account or Stripe?
No. The provider decides.
How do I start?
Order when the owners, the directors and the passport spelling are settled.
