Post-formation
A practical checklist from the certificate to a WorldFirst application, then separate Stripe review and annual filings. Founder includes application support; provider approval is not guaranteed.
Step 1
Certificate of Incorporation, MEM/ARTS and your CRN — you will need them for banking, Stripe and platforms.
Step 2
Every Ltd needs a UK address. If banks or platforms need stronger proof, consider Premium Virtual Office (Tenancy).
Step 3
After the certificate, prepare company documents, identity, residential-address proof and a clear activity description. Founder includes WorldFirst application support, but the provider independently decides eligibility and approval. Starter does not include this support, and Stripe is a separate application.
Step 4
After banking: match company name, address, bank and website. No VPN. See the full Stripe path.
Step 5
Usually within 3 months of starting real trading. We can help with registration as a standalone service.
Step 6
Register for VAT when needed (around £90,000 UK turnover or per your model). Registration is a standalone Eteform service.
Step 7
Keep every invoice and transfer from day one. Even a dormant company has annual filing duties.
Step 8
Annual CS01 plus accounts (dormant or active). Use compliance services so you are not surprised by penalties or strike-off.
