Three Slovenian taxes, and one that the convention does not credit
The UK–Slovenia convention was signed in London on 13 November 2007 and entered into force on 11 September 2008. It takes effect in Slovenia from 1 January 2009. In the UK it takes effect from 6 April 2009 for income tax and capital gains tax, and from 1 April 2009 for corporation tax.

Article 2 names three Slovenian taxes: the tax on income of legal persons, the tax on income of individuals, and the tax on property. HMRC’s note on admissible taxes adds a line that belongs on this page and not on a neighbour’s: the special tax on assets of banks and savings banks is not admissible for credit under the convention. Corporate income tax remains creditable. That distinction is HMRC’s, and it is not a calculation we make.

The Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (FURS) assesses Slovenian tax. A Companies House certificate does not file the income tax of legal persons, the income tax of individuals, or the property tax.
A resident’s osebna izkaznica accompanies the passport. Address proof is a recent electricity bill or a bank statement showing the name and a Slovenian address. The court register (sodni register) is Slovenia’s own company register.
We copy the passport spelling. Follow-up can be in English and in Slovene.
What you get
We are an ACSP. We prepare form IN01 and file it at Companies House, with the identity check the register requires.

Packages start at £450. The Companies House fee is £100 and is charged separately. Identity verification is £30 for each person who must verify. Formation packages include a London registered office. The certificate and company number usually arrive within 24–48 UK working hours after the file is complete and paid.
From the Founder package we can help prepare a WorldFirst application after the certificate. WorldFirst decides the account. We do not open a bank account and we do not get Stripe to accept the company.
